The Yenching Academy annually enrolls roughly 120 new scholars from both the Chinese landmass and abroad, to study, live, and learn together. transnational scholars comprise roughly 80 of the pupil body.

 Accoutrements 

 campaigners may apply through Yenching Academy’s online operation portal. Each aspirant will produce an account on the Yenching Academy admissions portal and submit the following accoutrements in English 

 

 Completed online operation form;

 Statement of Research Interest( maximum 1500 words, banning citations); 

 Curriculum Vitae; 

 Functionary paraphrase( s); 

 Parchment( s) or Certificate( s) of Registration; 

 Two academic letters of recommendation; 

 English conditions and minimal scores

 ○ Cambridge English Scale( Advanced) Overall 185 

 

 ○ CET 6 Overall 600 

 

 ○ TEM 4 Pass position of “ 良好 ” or above 

 

 * transnational aspirants whose native language is English, or have graduated from an English- tutored degree program( undergraduate or over), aren't needed to give an English proficiency test report. aspirants from the Chinese regions of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan( HMT) are needed to give an English proficiency test report, indeed if they've attended or graduated from an English- tutored degree program. Without furnishing an English proficiency test report, campaigners from these regions will need to take English as a Second Language after registration at Peking University. For aspirants from the Chinese landmass, an English proficiency test report is a mandatory operation material.
