Sage mode : How jiraiya became a sage

Today's blog post is talking about how jiraiya became a sage , but before we discuss about that , let's give in full details about what being a sage is. Now in order to became a sage , one must learn sage mode . So what is sage mode ?

Sage mode 

This can be seen as a state of supernatural power whereby it enhances to users moves and jutsu's.  Sage mode have been seen to give an increase to the user strength and ability to to sense chakra from a short range to a wide range . 

Now we have seen what sage mode is , let's see the types of various sage modes .

Types of sage mode 

1. Mount myoboku imperfect sage mode 

2. Mount myoboku perfect sage mode 

3. Hashirama sage mode 

4. Ryūchi cave imperfect sage mode 

5. Ryūchi cave sage mode 

6. Dragon snake sage mode 

7. Six paths sage mode 

8. Bijuu sage mode

The above listed are the various types so sage mode , so let's look at each carefully.

1. Mount myoboku imperfect sage mode (jiraiya sage mode) 

This mode is due to lack of absorbing and retaining sage chakra in harmony, a good example is jiraiya's sage mode.  He wasn't able to absorb sage chakra quickly. Again he couldn't harmonize the sage chakra he absorbed so it gave his a toad like features when he enters this mode .

2. Mount myoboku perfect sage mode (Naruto sage mode) 

Naruto was able to use this sage mode because he was able to absorb and harmonize sage chakra quickly so he didn't have any toad like features. This mode gave him the ability to sense chakra at a wide range distance , not only that , it also gave his super strength  and enhanced all his jutsu's destructive force . Without mastering this sage mode , he was only able to retain it for 5 minutes only . After mastering it , it was limitless.

3. Hashirama sage mode 

It was said that hashirama gain this sage mode due to intense training with a descendant of the sage of six paths. This mode enhances all his techniques and abilities.

4. Ryūchi cave imperfect sage mode (Orochimaru  sage mode) 

Orochimaru tried the acquire the power of a sage , in order to do that , he trained in ryūchi cave to gain sage chakra as well as its sage mode ,but couldn't perfect it due to his body weakness hence he wasn't able to perfect ryūchi cave sage mode . 

5. Ryūchi cave perfect sage mode (kabuto sage mode)

After orochimaru's death , kabuto still continued with orochimaru's experiments. He then fused orochimaru's cells with his gaining him to power of orochimaru as well as his senjutsu chakra . Kabuto took this experiment too further and perfected ryūchi cave sage mode. This gave him snake like features with horns . With this jutsu , he was able to perform some ryūchi cave secret forbidden jutsu's.

6. Dragon snake sage mode (Mitsuki sage mode)  

Mitsuki is another experiment of orochimaru. Orochimaru was able to tap into new discoveries and decided to test it on mitsuki thereby giving mitsuki of the dragon snake sage mode. This mode is very power , it changes his appearance and gives him a horn in his forehead. This mode increases his speed rapidly as well as strength and it also enhances his jutsu's.

7. Six paths sage mode (Naruto sage mode) 

Naruto got this mode thanks to Hagoromo otsutsuki (the sage of six paths) . This mode gave Naruto all access to the 9 tailed beast chakra as well as other abilities such as flight , the ability to give out chakra, the ability not repair damage body organs . This mode gave Naruto a Kekki tōta ability which is the chakra rod and truth seeking balls.

8. Bijuu sage mode (Naruto sage mode)

This mode is basically a discovery of Naruto. He enters this mode by simply combining his bijuu mode with his sage mode thereby making him to manipulate sage chakra in his bijuu state.

Now we all know what sage mode is all about , let's get to the main aspect of the day.

How jiraiya became a sage 

To know the story of how jiraiya became a sage, let go to the beginning he became a ninja .

Jiraiya was a member of team hiruzen , with his team mates being tsuande and Orochimaru. Back then jiraiya was a disappointment as a ninja , he didn't have a ninja way back then and always lost to Orochimaru and tsuande. 

His sensei (Hiruzen sarutobi)  decided to show him how to do the summoning jutsu just to catch his interest min training , and it did . Jiraiya learnt the hand signs for perform the summoning jutsu but didn't make any contract with any summoning creature hence it took him to mount myoboku as the wise toad prophesied that he will come on day . 

Jiraiya ended up in mount myoboku and he was told a prophecy that he would be the one to guide the child of prophecy who would either bring peace or destruction to the world depending on his selection.

By hearing all this jiraiya got eager to train and to find his student who would be the savior of the world. Jiraiya often trained at mount myoboku to become a sage , in few years time he mastered it but wasn't able to enter sage mode frequently since he it takes time to garther sage chakra. 

And that's how jiraiya became a sage.
