Further about the programme
This programme provides UK- grounded experimenters at any career stage, and active in any discipline within the social lores and the humanities, with an occasion to develop and lead interdisciplinary exploration systems.
Aims
The British Academy is inviting proffers for systems which concentrate on the theme of‘ Global (Dis) Order’.
The purpose of each design will be to develop new transnational exploration in the humanities and social lores, to foster our understanding of global order and complaint. Research may be problem- concentrated, creatively innovative and exploratory, and should bring together applicable disciplines in the humanities and social lores, where applicable, for maximum impact/ effect. The Academy expects all operations to unnaturally involve and integrate both the humanities and social lores. The Academy particularly encourage operations led from the humanities.
The Academy is interested in systems of an interdisciplinary nature that go beyond the day-to- day matters that this theme might engender, and rather concentrate on the deeper and further long- term issues of global (dis) order. The Academy sees this broad compass as essential in bringing together the range of disciplines across the humanities and social lores which are needed for an award under this programme. Aspirants should give as important consideration to the‘ global’ aspect as to the order and complaint possibilities, and the kinds of ordering that may wish to be considered.
The Academy envisages the awards made through the Programme will
