East Tennessee State University International Students Academic Merit Scholarship in the USA

The International Students Academic Merit Scholarship is available to eligible new transnational scholars seeking a graduate or undergraduate degree. 

Eligibility Conditions 

 

Apply for admission to ETSU undergraduate admissions, graduate admissions) 

Have or plan to have an F-1 or J-1 pupil visa (F-1 Visa information, J-1 Visa information). 

 Have a demonstrated record of academic achievement. 

 Award Process 

 

All aspirants who meet the following criteria will be considered for the education 

Minimal 3.0 high academy GPA on the US 4.0 scale ( beginner aspirants) 

Minimal 3.0 undergraduate GPA on the US 4.0 scale (undergraduate transfer aspirants and graduate aspirants) 

Aspirants who qualify for the education will admit notice of the award in their admission letter. Scholars who wish to accept the education must complete and submit a education acceptance form within three weeks from the date on the admissions letter. 

Education Value per Academic Year. 

 

Undergraduate scholars Up to $12,000

Graduate scholars Masters position scholars over to $ 5000 and Doctoral scholars up to 10,000$

 Award Terms and Conditions 

 

 Undergraduate scholars up to 8 semesters handed the minimal eligibility conditions are maintained. 

Graduate Scholars Five semesters for donors seeking a master’s degree, or commensurable with the length of the program. 

 

Education may not be combined with other literacy that cover education costs (Creative Arts, Honors in Discipline, Grad Assistantship, Graduate Tuition Scholarship, Government backing, Fulbright subventions, etc. Education can not be used when scholars are paying in- state, or Erate education. 

Other conditions as outlined in the Acceptance Form. 

 

Scholars Ineligible for the Merit Scholarship 

Alternate Bachelorette’s degree aspirants, if former Bachelor’s degree was granted by ETSU. 

Graduate scholars entering a graduate assistantship or education education 

Scholars entering any other ETSU education education 

Scholars paying in- state or Erate education. 

Scholars applying for the M.D. and PharmD programs 

Scholars who aren't in legal F-1 or J-1 status
