FigureThis education is open to foreign scholars who study or plan to study in Japanese graduate academies for doctoral or master’s degrees. Operations can be submitted from abroad as long as an aspirant is accepted to a Japanese graduate academy. All ethnicities and exploration fields are welcome. Aspirants may directly apply to the foundation without pre-selection by the university.
Period and quantum of education
The education will be handed out every month throughout the minimal period needed to acquire the degree. The quantum of education depends on the differences grounded on the period as below

How to apply
- Confirm that you are eligible to apply.
- Enter the “online application system”. Fill out the application form and upload the required documents.
- Once the documents are submitted, the application number will be issued, and a PDF of your application form will be created. Please save the PDF file as you will need it when the result is announced on our website.
All the indications in the online application system are both in English and Japanese. Auto-translation system installed in your device may disturb the online application system’s functions. Please remove the auto-translation system when you log in to the one application system.
