The Denis Goldberg Scholarship Program aims to increase the registration and retention of Southern African scholars in Heriot-Watt’s Energy, Geoscience, Structure, and Society postgraduate courses by
Establishing a pioneering program of literacy for over 35 scholars targeted to study areas across EGIS,
Furnishing an occasion of mentoring and networking through Heriot-Watt alumni and strong assiduity hookups across Southern Africa and beyond,
Working with original stakeholders in Southern Africa to establish connections into original communities,
Ultimately expanding the education program to engage with other seminaries across Heriot-Watt to bring a wider range of courses to the education program.
The Denis Goldberg Scholarship Program will support underprivileged postgraduate scholars from across Southern Africa to take up courses in their Academy of Energy, Geoscience, Structure and Society ( EGIS), and progress onto satisfying careers and leadership places in the energy assiduity in Southern Africa.
