Every time, BU welcomes roughly 20 outstanding scholars to the Trustee Scholars Program. numerous of our current Scholars had perfect 4.0 grade point pars in high academy and ranked in the top of their class.
In addition to exceptional academic credentials, Trustee Scholars are intellectually and creatively audacious and demonstrate shoes, gests , or achievements beyond the usual. They are, in other words, not just top scholars, but extraordinarily well- rounded individualities.
At BU, Trustee Scholars come part of a unique lot community that offers numerous intellectual, artistic, and social openings.
A Trustee Education covers full undergraduate education plus obligatory undergraduate pupil freights, and is renewable for four times if certain criteria are met.

To be considered for a Trustee Education
Submit the Common operation and all needed accoutrements for admission to one of the undergraduate degree programs at BU by December 1.
Complete the Trustee Education essay on the Common operation as part of your operation to BU.

Howard Thurman, who was the doyen of BU’s Marsh Tabernacle from 1953- 1965, formerly wrote “ Do n’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive. ”
Can you describe a particular experience you have had or an exertion that you share in that makes you come alive? How would you try to integrate that experience or exertion into your time at BU?
Describe a time when you felt out of your comfort zone or marginalized in a situation. How did you respond to that moment and how has it informed your conduct moving forward?
