The OPEC Fund’s Young Professional Development Program (YPDP) is a structured two- time program designed to prepare youthful professionals from the OPEC Fund’s member countries for a career in global development. 

OPEC is presently seeking aspirants with a passion for and commitment to transnational development who demonstrate academic excellence and applicable professional experience. The Institution especially want to hear from those with the drive and ambition to help developing countries address their most burning challenges in the hunt for social, environmental and profitable progress.

OPEC Fund’s Young Professional Development Program| What to Anticipate 

The YPDP offers training, coaching and mentoring, the occasion to witness different fields of work and to pierce professional networks. The program equips youthful professionals with the chops and knowledge to meet the minimal conditions for an entry- position position with the OPEC Fund. 

The YPDP will enable youthful professionals to develop an appreciation of how different departments/ units contribute to the OPEC Fund’s overall strategic and functional pretensions. After actors have successfully completed the two- time program, they may be offered a job at the OPEC Fund, grounded on their performance and the business need. 

 

Eligibility Criteria 

To apply for OPEC Fund’s Young Professional Development Program, you're anticipated to meet the ensuing conditions 

Aspirants must be OPEC Fund member country public 

Aspirants must be 30 times of age or youngish at the time of operation 

Have Attained at least a Master’s degree from a estimable university 

Excellent academic performance 

Be fluent in English 

Proficiency in one or further languages is desirable 

Have a minimum of 3 times of work experience 

Specialize in a field applicable to the OPEC Fund’s operations similar as Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, Law, Human Coffers, and any other applicable discipline.

Capability to work in a global and culturally different institution 

An understanding of the OPEC Fund’s accreditation 

Amenability to serve the OPEC Fund, if named, for a minimum of two times upon completion of the Program.
